Artist Notes:
"When I think of Symphony, I see in my mind the many different sides and emotions that are touched when one listens to a symphony played. I wanted to show something beautiful, dark and powerful; something that displayed such a force and intensity, that it would be immediately recognizable. We all have heard that one piece of music that moves us in a way that no words or books ever could. It speaks to us and understands that part of us that is yet unexplained; I wanted to capture this in art form. The conductor, faceless and unexplained, in a peak of sheer musical genius, reaches out in a moment of unhindered intensity, directing the way."

Song Notes:
My favorite part of the 2010 film “Inception” by Christopher Nolan wasn’t the cinematography, the acting, the effects, but the music. Towards the end, in the end of the plane ride and stuff (can’t be too specific lest I be spoilerific) a song played that brought me close to tears in the theater. Everyone can recognize Hans Zimmer and his pieces throughout film history ranging from “Days of Thunder” to “The Dark Knight” as something about his tracks is just so moving. I created this mix of his symphony to a more rhythmic sensibility as I was so compelled so, as soon as I finished watching Inception for the third time. However, this piece didn’t spell out “dreams” to me as it was more about “waking up” and as a nod to the song placement in the movie, I felt it ends Symphony well. This song is a culmination of my vision, to take a little bit from here and there, add some of my original vision, and turn it into a totally new piece, unrecognizable, yet strangely familiar. I hope you’ve enjoyed listening to Symphony as much as I and my team had creating this.
